Age Verification Policy

1) 20+ requirement
PlayRewardsNZ.com is intended for users in New Zealand who are aged 20 years or older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 20 to create an account, use our services, or receive rewards.
Our content, promotions, and communications must not target minors. We take reasonable steps to avoid marketing that is directed to, or primarily appeals to, people under 20.
2) How we age-gate
- Date of birth (DOB): you must provide your DOB during account creation and confirm you are 20+.
- Eligibility controls: we may block sign-up, access, or withdrawals/reward redemptions where information indicates you may be under 20.
- Ongoing checks: we may re-check age if we detect risk signals (for example, inconsistent information, complaints, or suspected misuse).
3) Verification (if required)
If we need to confirm your age, we may request information such as a government-issued ID and/or use a trusted verification provider. We may ask for additional details to validate authenticity (for example, a selfie match or proof of address). If you do not complete verification when requested, we may restrict or suspend your account until verification is completed.
4) If underage access is suspected or confirmed
- Immediate action: we may place the account into a restricted state (login, earning, and redemption may be blocked) while we review.
- Confirmation: if we determine the user is under 20, we will terminate access and may void rewards/benefits obtained while underage, where permitted by law.
- Related accounts: we may investigate and restrict linked accounts where misuse is suspected (for example, shared payment details or devices).
5) Data handling
We collect and use age-related information to enforce the 20+ requirement, prevent fraud, and meet legal/compliance obligations. We aim to collect the minimum necessary data. If an account is confirmed underage, we will delete or de-identify personal information where reasonable, except where we must keep records for legal, dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes. 6) Reporting underage access
If you believe someone under 20 is using PlayRewardsNZ.com, please contact us with any relevant details (for example, username, email used, and why you think they are underage). You can report by email or phone:
